Tannins can be problematic because of its stacking ability. It is naturally present in wine because it comes from the seeds and skin of grapes. It is essential to make red wine during the fermentation process. In white wine, the absence of tannins has reduced the chances of a headache with white wine.
As per Waterhouse, the compounds related to tannins can be easily absorbed into your bloodstream and your body can metabolize this substance by opening the blood vessels of your body. This process is called “vasorelaxation,” and it is an important step to develop a headache.
